As part of our on-going community efforts, Sun Life Malaysia Takaful (SLMT) recently supported Majlis Sentuhan Kasih, an initiative by PPZ-MAIWP dedicated to uplifting students from special needs schools in Kuala Lumpur.
Held on 19 January at Auditorium Tan Sri Abdul Rafie, JPWPKL, the event brought together 500 students from 25 schools.
The event was officiated by Yang Berhormat Senator Dr. Zulkifli bin Hasan, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Religious Affairs), and attended by SLMT CEO, En. Azam Yusof, as well as Kuala Lumpur Education Director Yang Berusaha Tuan Megat Affandi Datuk Wira Haji Ismail.
Through SLMT’s wakalah fund, RM100,000 was contributed to support the students, reflecting the role of takaful in caring for and strengthening communities.
It underscores our efforts and commitment to uplifting underserved groups and empowering them with opportunities that go beyond financial protection.
