Welcoming the Year of the Snake in Vibrant Style!
On 5 February, Sun Lifers welcomed the arrival of the Year of the Snake with a festive celebration filled with joy, unity, and cultural traditions. The event featured an energetic lion dance performance, filling the office with lively beats and auspicious energy as the troupe made its way across every floor.

Raymond Lew, President/Country Head of Sun Life Malaysia, along with the MCM members, joined the celebration, adding to the festive spirit. The highlight of the event was the traditional Lou Sang toss, symbolising prosperity and good fortune for the year ahead.

The celebration not only embraced the cultural essence of Chinese New Year but also strengthened the bonds within the Sun Life Malaysia family, setting an auspicious tone for the year to come.
 
Baju Raya Lama Baharu Campaign: Turning Dreams into Reality
In the spirit of giving, Sun Life Malaysia launched the Baju Raya Lama Baharu campaign from 13 February to 6 April, embedding sustainability to the cherished Raya traditions. 

Lead by Sun Life Malaysia’s brand ambassador Alif Satar, the campaign invites the public to donate pre-loved ‘Baju Raya’ at designated collection points, including Sun Life Malaysia offices and selected high-traffic AEON BiG locations. Partnering with Kloth Cares, the donated garments are collected and delivered to the talented fashion students at INTI University College, where they are upcycled into uniquely designed Raya clothes.

These upcycled outfits will bring festive joy to 100 children from Rumah Kasih Harmoni, creating memorable moments and fostering a sense of belonging. Alif Satar added a personal touch by visiting the home, engaging with the children, and guiding them to sketch their dream ‘Baju Raya’ designs that will come to life through this campaign.

Distribution and Marketing Kick Off 2025!
The Distribution and Marketing Kick Off meeting was held on 14 February, setting the stage for all teams to work together towards shared goals and a successful year ahead. The session brought together key leaders, including Alvis Wee (CDMO), alongside Heads of Departments (HODs), to share insights and strategies for the year.

The presentations highlighted achievements, key milestones, and opportunities ahead, fostering a transparent dialogue on areas for growth. Alvis kickstarted the session by outlining 2025’s goals, emphasising the importance of collaboration and innovation in driving business growth, while respective HODs, including David Lim, Lim Lee Lin, Ashley Goh, Wong Li Ling and Tricia Loh presented their plans to align with the company’s overarching mission to help more Malaysians achieve lifetime financial security and live healthier lives.
2024 Agency Annual Awards Celebration!
The 2024 Agency Annual Awards, held on 24 February at The St. Regis Kuala Lumpur, celebrated the outstanding achievements and dedication of Sun Life Malaysia's top-performing advisors, with 155 advisors in attendance.

Raymond Lew (President/Country Head) along with Irina Lim (COO) and Alvis Wee (CDMO), were present to celebrate our respected advisors' success. The evening featured 13 award categories, honouring standout winners like Caliph Life Agency, KZ Truvisory Agency, and YDG Agency.

The vibrant atmosphere inspired advisors to reach even greater heights in their careers, while reinforcing Sun Life Malaysia’s commitment to excellence, growth, and empowerment.
