Our '10 Years Brighter Roadshows' kicked off with a bang of excitement with more than a thousand people visited the first roadshow at The Starling in Uptown Damansara, Petaling Jaya, from 16 to 19 March.
Throughout the four-day event, visitors were treated to free health checks organised by our health partner, Watson, nutritional talks, and cooking demonstration, clown and face-painting activities and more. There were daily lucky draws up for grabs where lucky visitors walked away with amazing prizes, including a Xiaomi Smart Band 7 Pro, a JBL GO 3 Portable Waterproof Bluetooth Speaker, Apple Ear Pods, our anniversary special edition blanket, and many more.
Additionally, there were special stalls showcasing merchandise put together by our brand partners, including Love Earth, a natural food producer, and Plant Origins by Signature Market, which sells locally made aromatherapy and personal care products and United Voice, an advocate for the people with learning disabilities.
We are now gearing up for our second roadshow happening at 1 Utama Shopping Centre (Oval Concourse) from 24 to 28 May. Please help us spread the words out and bring your family and friends to join in the fun.

In conjunction with International Day of Happiness, we also embarked on a mood-booster campaign, ‘One Car, One Smile’ by distributing drink coasters, printed with an inspirational quote, which can be used to redeem a RM8 Tealive voucher at the roadshow. This campaign was held in support of International Day of Happiness celebrated annually on 20 March to remind people to prioritise well-being and happiness in their daily lives.

One Car, One Smile
The coasters were distributed to members of the public around the vicinity of The Starling, Damansara Perdana, Kota Damansara, SS2, and Taman Tun Dr Ismail.
21 Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) 2022 qualifiers from our PAM agency channel earned themselves a 7-day epic trip to New Zealand in recognition of their outstanding performance last year.
This exclusive trip, held from 1 to 7 March, featured specially curated activities, including a thrilling Shotover Jet ride, visit to fruit orchard, bee farm, a 4WD tour and more, to allow the MDRT qualifiers to unwind and relax after a busy year.
The highlight of the event was a Gala Night where special awards and certificate were presented to all qualifiers by our CEO Raymond Lew in the company of DCEO Ho Teck Seng.

We are thrilled to announce the return of our flagship Brighter Wellness Programme for the fourth year. This programme will run from March to September 2023, and we have lined up an array of exciting and breakthrough experiential events to help Malaysians secure a healthier and brighter future in terms of their finances, physical health, and mental well-being.
The first programme, held on 18 and 19 March at The Starling roadshow, aimed to bring a new twist to mental wellness. First, we teamed up with 37 Craft for a calligraphy workshop, that is perfect for beginners. During the workshop, Kelly, the founder of 37 Craft, taught the participants easy to follow steps about modern calligraphy.
But that wasn't all, we organised two terrarium workshops which was led by Little Hutan. All the participants learned how to create a succulent terrarium that fit their personalities during the workshop and brought home their very own succulent terrarium masterpiece.

On 9 March, Sun Lifers gathered to celebrate 2023 International Women's Day with a spotlight on the importance to embrace Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion as part of our culture.
During the event themed ‘Wellness and Sustainability’, Sun Lifers participated in various activities, including free health checks, in-body assessment, CSR massages by the visually impaired masseurs from the Malaysian Association of the Blind, and were also treated to a wide array of delicious delicacies.
To help reduce plastic waste, a ‘mobile refiller station’ was set up to allow Sun Lifers to refill eco-friendly household cleaning products, dried foods, and even shampoo bars using their own bottles and containers.
The event culminated with the launch of the all-new Sun Life Malaysia’s employee wellness app, the ‘Engage Life’ by our CEO. With the new app, Sun Lifers can stay up to date with the latest employee wellness events, announcements, and notifications, anytime and anywhere.
The celebration ended with a panel discussion on gender inclusivity and equity, featuring Sun Life's very own Chief Client and Digital Officer, Victor Cheong, General Counsel, Vanissa Daniel as well as guest speakers, Rumaizon Malik, founder of Ideascapes Counselling and Eidza Jumanis, founder of 5 Luxe Scents Co.

Sun Life Malaysia continues the winning streak by closing Financial Year 2022 with solid business performance results and a strong start to 2023.
During the Q1 townhall session held on 17 March, our CEO Raymond Lew attributed the stellar business results to the collective efforts of Sun Lifers as well as the support from the Regional Management Team under the leadership of Ingrid Johnson, Sun Life Asia President who was also present at the event.
During the event, Raymond together with Ingrid, also presented a plaque and special memento to all nominees of 2022 CEO's Awards.
The event coincides with Ingrid Johnson’s recent visit to Malaysia to connect with business partners and advisors. Highlights of her trip included visits to the CIMB Consumer Sales and Distribution Branch at Taman Tun Dr Ismail, CIMB Retail & Enterprise Distribution Centre and CIMB Centre Commercial Banking at BU8, Bandar Utama.
Ingrid also paid a courtesy visit to CIMB's Chief Executive Officer, Group Consumer & Digital Banking, Effendy Shahul Hamid.
