InsureLit School Programme Officially Kicks Off!

We’re thrilled to announce the official launch of our flagship InsureLit School Programme on 24 September at SK Sri Damansara 1! This exciting initiative is designed to help students better grasp financial concepts – earning, saving and protecting, in a fun and engaging twist.

The kick-off session was graced by Tricia Loh, CMO of Sun Life Malaysia, alongside Encik Ilham,  headmaster of SK Sri Damansara 1, and Adeline Ten, Chief Nurturing Officer from Wealth of Life.

40 enthusiastic Standard 6 students were the first to experience the InsureLit board game, learning key lessons about insurance in an interactive and enjoyable way. Adeline Ten added extra excitement with her lively session on ‘Earn, Save, Protect’ with a Q&A that sparked curiosity among the students. As a special treat, each student took home a limited edition InsureLit mini board game – a fun keepsake to continue learning.

The following day, the fun continued at SK Taman Melawati, where 131 students participated in the board game action, facilitated by  our amazing Sun Lifers volunteers.

We will be continuing the programme at more schools across Klang Valley over the next few months - if you’d like to join us as a facilitator for the chance to empower young children with financial knowledge, do keep an eye out for emails from Brand and Communications team.

Health + Wealth = InsureLit Roadshow

The final leg of 2024 InsureLit Roadshow Series successfully took place at IOI Puchong Mall from 18 to 22 September. This vibrant event attracted a lively crowd eager to participate in engaging activities and win exciting prizes. 

Designed to highlight the importance of insurance/takaful and promote healthier living, the roadshow left a lasting impact on all its visitors. 

In celebration of World Gratitude Day on 21 September, attendees had the chance to take home a cute mini potted succulent as a token of appreciation. Attendees also enjoyed complimentary popcorn, had the opportunity to undergo health and eye checks, while for those seeking financial guidance, our Advisors were on hand to provide valuable advice.

We are thrilled with the success of this roadshow and remain committed to making financial literacy both engaging and accessible.

Client Ambassador Team 2024 Launch: Power Your Pace!

On 3 September, Client Ambassador Team (CAT) kicked off this year’s programme with the theme “Power Your Pace”. This event marked a significant step forward in delivering great Client experiences and was attended by several key management team members, including Irina Lim, COO, and Victor Cheong, CCDO, Azreena Che Omar, CHRO, Christine Micheal, Head of Operations and joined by Wong Li Ling, CBO, and Tricia Loh, CMO.

A highlight of the event was the video messages from Raymond Lew, CEO & President of Sun Life Malaysia, and David Broom, Chief Client and Distribution Officer, Asia. They conveyed their strong support of the initiative, expressing their hopes that our ambassadors will foster stronger relationships with Clients, ultimately leading to an outstanding Client experience.

The CAT initiative is a vital part of the Client Outreach Programme, featuring several key components focused on enhancing Client relationships and satisfaction. One initiative is Client Appreciation Month, which celebrates and acknowledges the loyalty and support of our Clients. Throughout the month, various activities have been planned to express our gratitude. Another key component, Closer to Clients: Delighter Moments, involves ongoing personalised interactions led by Client Ambassadors, designed to create memorable experiences for Clients to feel valued and appreciated.

Together, let’s continue to lead with BOLDER behaviour, creating great experiences and building lasting relationships with our Clients!
 

Malaysia Day Celebration with Sun Lifers!
On 12 September, we celebrated Malaysia Day with a special edition of the Engage & Learn Challenge, which featured a treasure-hunt-themed adventure that took participants on a BOLDER scavenger hunt around the office.
 
107 fantastic Sun Lifers participated and embraced the spirit of the occasion by dressing in traditional baju kurung and Malaysian-themed outfits. The activities not only reinforced the importance of using Bahasa Malaysia in our daily interactions but also fostered teamwork and connection, allowing colleagues to bond in a fun and interactive setting.
 
It was an unforgettable day that truly celebrated Malaysia Day and the spirit of unity in a memorable and engaging way!
