The InsureLit Roadshow 2024 wrapped up on an exhilarating note at the Star Property Fair held at the Mid Valley Convention Centre, from 11 to 13 October. This final stop marked the culmination of a meaningful journey across seven locations, where financial literacy education was both engaging and enjoyable.
Throughout the roadshow, visitors were immersed in a variety of activities, from health checkups, personalised financial advice to an engaging, financial-themed maze. These activities not only provided essential financial planning insights but also transformed learning into an interactive, fun-filled experience.

The 2024 HR Open Day, held on 10 October at the M floor, created a valuable platform for Sun Lifers to learn more about our bolder and inclusive people culture. Key Management Committee members, including Irina Lim (COO), Azreena Bt Che Omar (CHRO), Lim Chin Har (CRO), Patrick Chow (AA), Catherine Renukha Raju (CIO) and Benjamin Khoo (GC), opened the event by sharing their views on the importance of talent development for Sun Life.
The day continued with special talks by experts from Employee Provident Fund (EPF) and Human Resource Development Corporation (HRDC).
Interactive quizzes, surveys, games, and rewards kept Sun Lifers engaged, while the Staff Purchase Plan booth, managed by our Product Team, offered some insights on purchasing our insurance/takaful plan.
The SLM Q2/2024 Townhall & Long Service Award celebration, held on 16 October, gathered 703 Sun Lifers for an event dedicated to celebrate loyalty and the organisation’s culture of recognition and appreciation.
102 dedicated Sun Lifers were presented with their 5/10/20 years Long Service Award by our CEO, Raymond Lew. This heartfelt presentation not only recognised the unwavering dedication of these employees but served as a reminder of the values that bind us together as a team and the vital role each employee plays in shaping our workplace culture.
