On 17 and 18 August, 350 registered participants gathered at The Agam, Kuala Lumpur, for an unforgettable weekend of wellness and financial bliss at the Sun In The City Wellness Fest 2024. They embarked on a transformative journey of Financial Bliss, Physical Prowess, and Mental Care.

The event was buzzed with energy, from the playful Yoga with cats by celebrity yoga instructor, Jojo Struys, to the electrifying FLYJam dance sessions with MimiFly, insightful financial talks with financial gurus Dr Adam Zubir and Aznah Abas, and immersive wellness workshops. Additionally, lifestyle booths featuring brands like Kenny Hill Bakers, LUMI, Taffy Gelato, HELLO yogurt and Retro Groove Sunnies added an extra layer of excitement.

The event kicked off with a warm welcome from our CEO, Raymond Lew, followed by the dramatic unveiling of the Sun In The City masthead, setting the tone for an inspiring two days.

Participants also explored an array of activities, from health checks by BookDoc, DIY bracelet making with Twilly Beads by Twilly Treats to quick hair blowouts by COCOdry, and learning some financial concepts by playing the life-sized InsureLit board game, twister, and more.

Our 3rd InsureLit Roadshow, held from 31 June to 4 July at IOI City Mall, Putrajaya, drew hundreds of visitors. It surely underscored our unwavering commitment to helping people achieve lifetime financial security and lead healthier lives.

At the core of the InsureLit Roadshow were engaging, hands-on activities designed to boost participants' knowledge of financial planning and protection. In celebration of International Friendship Day, we added a personal touch with Free Polaroid snaps and sunflowers giveaways to our visitors, along with health checks, games, and other interactive experiences.

On 21 to 23 August 2024, Sun Life Malaysia's management team gathered for the Mid-Year Management Offsite at Shangri-La Rasa Ria, Kota Kinabalu. With 22 key leaders present, the offsite was crucial for reviewing our progress and recalibrating strategies for the remainder of 2024 and beyond.

The meeting reinvigorated our vision, outlining how each department can collaborate more effectively to achieve Thrive in Five goals. The engaging and fruitful discussions also offered deeper clarity on our plans for 2025, strengthened our collective commitment to achieve our objectives and continue delivering exceptional value to our Clients.

From 2 to 6 August, the vibrant city of Sydney, Australia, became the stage for the prestigious 2023 Asia President’s Award. This exclusive event brought together over 100 Sun Life’s top producers from across Asia, alongside senior management members, to celebrate remarkable achievements and showcase the distribution excellence that drives business success.

The event featured a range of exclusive activities, from a thrilling sailing yacht regatta and an oyster farm visit to a breathtaking bridge climb. These unique experiences offered attendees not only the chance to connect and network but also to exchange invaluable insights and best practices that will drive quality and elevate performance in their respective markets.

A key highlight of the event was the presentation of six prestigious awards, divided into two categories for advisors and leaders.
