In July 2022, Ingrid Johnson, Sun Life Asia President made her debut trip across Asia – visiting Singapore, Vietnam, Philippines, Malaysia, and Indonesia, to meet and connect with Sun Lifers, both employees and advisors, across Asia.

During Ingrid’s stay in Malaysia (19 – 20 July 2022), a grand townhall session with the theme, ‘A Colourful Cultural Evening’ was held at the Premiera Hotel Kuala Lumpur. The event kick-started with a business performance update by our CEO, Raymond Lew where he thanked the entire Sun Life Malaysia team for their outstanding efforts to deliver yet another ‘dream quarter’ for the company.

Other event highlights included a fireside chat session, phenomenal performances by Sun Life own talents as well as dance & drum routines that showcased the vibrant cultural diversity of Malaysia.

A special ‘Meet & Greet with Advisors’ session was also held at our 1 Utama branch office to allow our advisors to get up-close-and-personal with Ingrid.

Ingrid ended her visit to Malaysia by making a special appearance at the ‘2021 Banca Outstanding SuperStar Achievers’ appreciation event which saw the attendance of over 100 top performing producers and senior management personnel from CIMB.

In July, we switched gear to focus on financial wellness. To help Malaysians get a proper head start in financial planning which plays a crucial role in financial resilience, we offered the 10 first registered participants a personalised consultation session with our advisors. Each participant also walked away with a RM100 Touch N Go e-voucher.

More exciting activities are lined up for the next few months so, stay tuned!  Remember to help us spread the word and get your family and friends to join us for an array of brighter and healthier experiences.
