A group of outstanding Sun Life Malaysia’s Most Respected Advisors earned a chance to indulge in an amazing weekend surrounded by white sand and emerald waters while attending the inaugural 2022 Most Respected Advisor Senior Leaders meeting, held in the enchanting The Ritz-Carlton, Langkawi, from 11 to 13 February 2022.
Joining this group of outstanding advisors were CEO Raymond Lew and DCEO Ho Teck Seng. The meeting features sharing and brainstorming sessions to enable our advisors to discuss and chart their growth action plans to nurture the ‘most respected’ agency force in the industry.
The event also featured a special recognition dinner to honour 18 advisors who have demonstrated exceptional achievements and commitment in helping our Clients achieve lifetime financial security and lead healthier lives. Their efforts and achievements are definitely a testament to our tagline - ‘Bolder & Better Together’.

Sun Life Malaysia celebrated a new milestone!
Continuing our commitment to delivering exceptional experiences for our Clients, we are thrilled to announce our all-new 1 Utama Branch official opening on the special day of Tuesday, 22.2.2022.
With the expanded presence, we hope to bring our innovative products and services closer to Clients and help them navigate life’s important milestones. This inventive workspace also doubles up as the first-of-its-kind ‘learning and collaborative’ hub to empower our advisors to better serve and connect with our Clients.
The grand opening ceremony begun with the enchanting kompang and traditional Malay dance performance, and followed by an acrobatic lion dance performance, which added cheers and colours to the celebration.
The grand opening ceremony was commemorated with a ribbon cutting ceremony by our CEO, Raymond Lew, DCEO, Ho Teck Seng, Chief Distribution Officer, Alvis Wee, Head of Agency Distribution, Ashley Goh and Senior Director - Proprietary Agency, David Lim.
Highlights from the event included a welcoming speech by our CEO, special cake cutting ceremony, bonding session with our advisors as well as a scrumptious refreshment for all attendees.

The 2022 Agency Kick-Off returned as a physical on-ground event after two years of hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Held at the W Hotel, Kuala Lumpur on 8 February 2022, the event, which is touted to be the most anticipated event by our advisors, was well-attended by over 168 agency leaders and advisors. Present were our CEO, Raymond Lew and DCEO, Ho Teck Seng.
This is a special night curated to allow our advisors and their team members to come together to celebrate their achievements with their peers.
Guests were entertained by Idayu the winner of Akademi Fantasia (AF) Megastar with her powerhouse vocal. The highlight of the evening, however, was the presentation of the awards and the unveiling of destinations for the 2022 sales conventions. In total, 72 awards were given out in various categories including 2022 Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) and 2022 Court of The Table (COT).
Our heartiest CONGRATULATIONS to all the awardees for achieving another milestone in Sun Life Malaysia. Your hard work, dedication, and discipline have inspired all of us to continue to be passionate and to excel in serving our Clients.

To ring in the Year of the Tiger, Sun Lifers gathered over a successful hybrid event themed ‘Roaring CNY Celebration’ – which was hosted at Sun Life KL office and live streamed via Zoom.
The festive celebration kick-started with a ‘roar-some’ lion dance performance, accompanied by lively sounds of drums, gongs and cymbals, to bring best wishes and luck to Sun Lifers. To elevate the festive spirits, Level M was decorated with flowers and plants, with red ribbons and lucky ornaments, which symbolises wealth and good fortune.
During the event, CEO Raymond Lew, gave an inspiring speech and introduced Sun Life Malaysia 2022 tagline – Bolder & Better Together – that signifies that we need to be bold in our approach towards embracing growth and changes. It also emphasised the importance of teamwork in pushing Sun Life Malaysia to greater heights in 2022.
Other event highlights included special performance by our very own SLM celebrities, Chinese calligraphy workshops and lucky draw session. The hour-long celebration ended with a prosperity ‘yee-sang’ tossing session – with our CEO, DCEO and Management Committee members.
