An investment-linked policy uses a portion of your premiums to purchase units in investment fund(s).

Your fund value can reduce in the following ways:

  1. Not paying preimums when it is due
  2. Having a poor investment return
  3. Making partial withdrawals from the fund
  4. Choosing not to increase premiums when increasing protection cover (e.g. buying riders)
  5. Choosing not to increase premiums or perform top up when the insurer increases insurance/other charges
